Indianapolis, IN: Indianapolis Indians Fourth of July Fireworks Show

As soon as the Indianapolis fireworks were over, the Indians crew ran out to the field and starting setting up the baseball fireworks. We think they probably wanted to cover up more of the field with tarps, but it was literally a "run out and see how much you can cover in three minutes" type of thing, since the game had gone so late and the "planned" show to combine with the Indy fireworks downtown didn't happen. They probably thought they'd have more time to set up. We didn't mind :)

What proceeded to happen was one of the best fireworks shows we've been to. They literally shot off the fireworks from the outfield (as you can see), so they were all right in front of us. It was awesome.

The grand finale was so awesome it overpowered the camera!

It sounds like we picked the right fireworks show to go to this year. It was such a great experience. Hopefully they do this every year in case we want to go back :)
